We partner with psychiatric nurse practitioner programs interested in their students being successful providers once out of school. These students are attached to our experienced clinicians, where they learn the act of prescribing, interviewing, assessing, and writing initial and follow-up progress visit notes in various clinical settings. We also support new psychiatric nurse practitioners who are interested in gaining more clinical exposure and confidence in the act of prescribing, interviewing, assessing, and writing initial/progress evaluation notes while earning income.

What Is This Service All About?

We offer a Psychiatry Clerkship designed to provide psychiatric nurse practitioner (NP) students with essential hands-on experience in various clinical settings. This structured learning experience helps prepare them for independent practice in psychiatric care in Philadelphia, PA.
